New Kid on the Blog
Some ideas don't come out of a business plan. They come out of a very personal moment.
At Natch, a lot of it started with one simple question: why isn't there an oral care product that tastes good, is thought through in terms of health, comes without warning labels, works sustainably – and that you can hand to your own family with a genuinely good feeling?
The Question Behind Natch

That question had been on our co-founder Heber's mind for a long time. As a father, he wanted oral care that wasn't only effective, but that also felt right: natural, deliberately formulated, pleasant to use, and without the compromises of conventional toothpaste.
The trigger was very close to home. His two-and-a-half-year-old son swallowed his toothpaste every time he brushed – as small children simply do. So Heber went looking for ingredients he wouldn't have to worry about in that moment.
Summer 2018: From Experiment to Formula

In the summer of 2018, he started experimenting with natural ingredients. An idea turned into a real passion, hundreds of attempts turned into a tooth tab formula – and later, together with Norbert, into the foundation of Natch.
New: Toothmonster Mango, Passion Fruit & Guava
Now a small circle closes for us. Because there's something new for small and grown-up Natch fans alike: our second kids formula, joining the much-loved Toothmonster Bubblegum.
For the taste, we went with a food-grade flavor of mango, passion fruit and guava – a composition of natural, plant-based and nature-identical ingredients, of the kind also used in confectionery. The result: that creamy, tropical flavor kids love and parents quietly approve of.
We developed it with one clear goal: to make daily brushing easier and more enjoyable for children.
What's Inside

The formula is made from natural, food-grade ingredients and sweetened with xylitol and stevia – so no sugar, and a deliberately short ingredient list for small mouths.
Then there's postbiotics and zinc. Zinc has long been an established ingredient in oral care. We work with postbiotics across the entire Natch range because we think of oral care as working with the oral microbiome – not against the mouth's natural balance, but alongside it. In this way, the formula can help contribute to small mouths feeling clean, fresh and well looked after.
And as with all Natch tabs: no fluoride, no tube, no warning label on the packaging.
Not Only for Kids
As with Toothmonster Bubblegum, the same applies here: this formula isn't meant exclusively for children. Grown-ups are just as welcome to buy it, use it and love it – especially anyone in the mood for a fruitier Natch routine.
Then and Now
In the photos you can see Heber today – eight years on – brushing his teeth with his son Liam and with Natch, as the most ordinary thing in the world. And above, the two of them back when Natch was only just getting started, in 2018.
For us, those pictures tell exactly what Natch has been about from the very beginning: rethinking oral care and putting oral health at the center. For ourselves, for our families, and for the next generation.
