What We Learned from Our Survey – and Why Oral Health Matters So Much!

Your questions, your answers: We love finding out how you use our products, what matters to you, and what questions you have about Natch Tabs. That's exactly why we recently ran a survey. The results were eye-opening – because above all, they showed us one thing: many of you want more background knowledge about our ingredients, how they work, the details of oral health, and the connection between the oral microbiome and the rest of the body.
Over the coming weeks, we'll be diving into all of these topics in detail!
In the meantime, here's a quick overview of the most important things to know about ingredients and oral care:
Why Dental Health Is the Foundation of a Healthy Life
Health starts in the mouth! That might sound simple at first – but science today makes it very clear: the balance of your oral microbiome influences far more than just your teeth. It affects your gums, your immune system, your gut, and ultimately your entire body.
Natch is a premium oral care product that can support your health as a daily ritual. The tabs are made with a powerhouse of high-quality ingredients – which makes them a little more expensive than conventional toothpaste, but each brush costs you around 15 cents. Not bad, when you think about what we spend on a café latte every day…
Many inflammations can originate in the mouth and spread from there throughout the body. Good oral care is therefore not just about teeth – it should be an important part of your daily health routine.
What Can Our Tabs Actually Do?
One tab…
- Supports daily oral care
- Contributes to remineralisation
- Cares for sensitive teeth
- Supports a balanced oral environment
- Promotes a pleasant feeling in the mouth
- Contributes to gum care
- Strengthens the tooth surface
The Difference Between Conventional Toothpaste and Natch Toothpaste Tabs

When you reach for a classic toothpaste from the supermarket, the focus in many cases is primarily on cleaning, foam, and flavour. Many conventional toothpastes contain ingredients like SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), alcohol, synthetic fragrances, strong preservatives, or other additives designed mainly for lathering, shelf life, and intense taste.
These ingredients serve primarily a cleansing or cosmetic function. At the same time, however, they can affect the natural balance in the mouth – because they don't distinguish between "good" and "bad" bacteria. This can throw the oral microbiome out of balance, which may have a long-term impact on the gums, oral flora, and overall oral health.
The Natch approach is different. It's not just about clean teeth – it's about maintaining as balanced an oral environment as possible, with an oral care routine that takes the entire mouth into account: teeth, gums, oral flora, and mucous membranes, and with that, the whole body.
What Do Natch Tabs Do Differently?
Each tab contains carefully selected natural ingredients that support your daily oral care and are specifically targeted at oral health and your oral microbiome.
Here are a few examples:
Hydroxyapatite (HAp)
As Natch is a fully vegan product, we use hydroxyapatite – a form of calcium phosphate. This mineral is the main component of our teeth and bones and makes up a large part of our tooth enamel. Hydroxyapatite can bond to the tooth surface, smooth out minor irregularities, and contribute to the remineralisation of tooth enamel. This can help care for the teeth, strengthen the tooth surface, and support sensitive teeth. A study published in the Journal of Clinical Dentistry (2011) showed that nHAp can effectively seal dentinal tubules and thus reduce hypersensitivity. Further research, including Wang et al. (2016), confirms the effectiveness of nHAp in treating dentine hypersensitivity.
Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 plays an important role in many processes in the body. In oral care, it can contribute to the care of the oral mucosa and support the gums – and it's particularly interesting for people following a vegetarian or vegan diet. Vitamin B12 is absorbed directly through the oral mucosa.
Postbiotics and Plant-Based Actives
Postbiotics are bioactive metabolic compounds produced during fermentation processes – for example enzymes, peptides, or short-chain fatty acids. They can support the oral microbiome by promoting the "good" bacteria in the mouth and thus contributing to a balanced oral environment. A balanced oral microbiome is important for healthy gums, a stable oral flora, and a pleasant feeling in the mouth.
Combined with plant-based actives, the tabs don't just support tooth cleaning and oral hygiene – they support your entire immune system.
This means: oral care is so much more than just brushing your teeth!
Let it become more than a routine – make it your daily health ritual.
