International Children's Day 2026 Let's celebrate International Children's Day with a smile—because good health starts in the mouth!

On June 1st, we celebrate International Children's Day — a day dedicated entirely to the youngest among us. For nearly 100 years, this special occasion has served as a reminder of how important protection, education, and health are for children.

The day traces back to the World Conference in August 1925, when representatives from 54 countries came together to discuss the wellbeing of children. The result was the adoption of the Geneva Declaration on the Protection of Children. In the years that followed, several countries introduced a dedicated Children's Day — because children have a right to education, protection, and health. And that includes something that's often underestimated in everyday life: healthy teeth from the very start.

A child's radiant smile means so much more than just nice-looking teeth. Good oral hygiene supports overall wellbeing, reinforces healthy routines, and lays the foundation for long-term health.

Why Dental Care Matters — Even for Kids

Baby teeth are more sensitive than permanent teeth because their enamel isn't yet fully developed. That's why cavities and gum problems can appear early on. Regular brushing helps remove plaque and bacteria, protecting teeth in a lasting way.

Even more importantly: children learn through daily rituals. Those who discover the joy of dental care early on tend to carry those healthy habits with them for life.

Dental Care That Kids Actually Enjoy

With the Tooth Monster Tabs, Natch has shown that kids' dental care doesn't have to be boring. The delicious bubblegum flavour turns daily brushing into a little adventure — and has won over plenty of kids and parents alike.

And it's about to get even more exciting: the Tooth Monster family is growing!

A brand-new Kids Tooth Tab formula with a completely new flavour experience is already on its way, ready to make little smiles shine in an even more delicious way. We'll be sharing more very soon!

Why Parents Love Natch Tooth Monster Tabs

Kids need dental care that protects effectively while staying gentle. That's exactly what the Natch Tooth Monster Tabs were designed for.

Our fluoride-free formula contains Calcium Hydroxyapatite (HAp) — a naturally occurring component of tooth enamel. It helps strengthen and remineralise teeth, and is especially gentle and safe, even if a little gets swallowed during brushing.

Also working alongside:

  • Zeolite to help balance acidity in the mouth
  • Zinc to support the reduction of plaque and bacteria
  • Natural oils and fruit & vegetable extracts for a pleasant taste experience

The result: modern, healthy oral care for kids that brings together protection and fun.

Meet the Monsters!

Our lovingly designed Tooth Monster characters playfully motivate children to brush regularly. Because when dental care is fun, it quickly becomes a favourite routine.

And to complete the set: the Natch Moso Bamboo Toothbrushes for Kids — ergonomically designed for little hands and available in cheerful colours.

Simple Tips for Strong Kids' Teeth

1. Start Early

As soon as the first tooth appears, it's time to start brushing — ideally morning and evening.

2. Make It Playful

Music, stories, or small brushing rituals help to make brushing a positive experience.

3. Brush Together

Even when children want to brush on their own, parents should continue to help and check until primary school age.

4. Visit the Dentist Regularly

Early dental visits help build trust and catch any issues in good time.

A Healthy Smile Starts in Everyday Life

Health often begins with small habits. Showing children early on how important dental care is also means giving them a sense of responsibility for themselves.

On International Children's Day, we celebrate not only children's rights, but all the small daily rituals that make children strong.

And with our Tooth Monster Tabs, every single day becomes a little brushing adventure!

Happy brushing,

Norbert and Heber
