We're excited to announce a partnership that puts precisely these questions at the center: Natch is now a supporter of BEYOND FLUORID – a growing dialogue and knowledge platform focused on modern cavity prevention, fluoride exposure, and effective fluoride-free alternatives.

What BEYOND FLUORID Is – and What It Isn't

BEYOND FLUORID brings together perspectives that rarely sit at the same table: science, dentistry, policy, business, and consumers. The platform's goal is to make new scientific findings more visible, to advance the conversation around total fluoride exposure, and to bring more attention to effective fluoride-free alternatives.

One distinction matters to us here: BEYOND FLUORID does not rate or promote individual products. The platform creates space for different perspectives, new research findings, and an objective examination of the future of cavity prevention. The scientific work is led by an independent advisory board chaired by former State Minister Dr. med. dent. Wolfgang Heubisch, with Dr. med. dent. Johanna Graf as deputy chair.

In other words: our support is not a seal of approval for Natch. It's a commitment to a debate we believe is overdue.

Why We're On Board

Since our founding, one question has stayed with us: What could modern oral care look like today – effective, practical for everyday use, thoughtfully formulated, and fluoride-free?

In our formulas, instead of fluoride, we rely on hydroxyapatite – more precisely, micronized calcium hydroxyapatite. The term sounds more complicated than the thing itself. Calcium hydroxyapatite is a biomimetic mineral that matches the natural mineral component of teeth and bone – it's a substance that occurs naturally in tooth enamel itself. "Micro" simply describes the particle size we use. Both terms refer to the same active ingredient; depending on context, sometimes the material origin is the more relevant detail, sometimes the particle size is.
